I'm always on the lookout for a great scrub that not only exfoliates my skin well but is gentle at the same time. When I opened my Campus VoxBox and saw the St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub, I was very unsure if I wanted to use it or not.
Many years ago, this scrub was very popular among the blogging community. Every makeup and/or skincare blogger that I followed raved about how great this scrub was. Not only was it cheap but after using it to exfoliate, the skin became very soft. I was so close to going out and buying it until I read more posts about how harsh the exfoliating beads were. There was a flaw in the shape of the beads which would cut into the skin and damage the skin in the long run. Many persuaded people not to use this scrub anymore.
I'm not sure if St. Ives ever followed up on that complaint. But nonetheless I did not want to risk damaging my acne-prone skin anymore. I didn't want this scrub to go to a waste either so I used it as a body exfoliator. I must say I was able to #LiveRadiantly after using this on my body since it made my skin smooth and the smell of the scrub is great.
